Testimonial: Asheville Preservation Society Gala 2016

"Talented and generous" are just a few of the words I could use to describe Asheville's loveliest photographer, Wendy Newman! When I agreed to chair the first gala that the Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County had hosted in nearly 40 years, I decided to give our patrons a little more than they would normally get for their sponsorship dollars - a "swag bag"! 

Luckily for me, I ran into Wendy and saw her lovely scarves which featured our historical buildings in downtown in the form of mandalas. When I told her about the Preservation Society event, she graciously offered to create a Limited Edition scarf for our event! She actually ended up custom-designing a scarf for the Preservation Society and they were the hit of the party! Thank you, Wendy for your talent, your kindness, and your generosity in supporting Historic Preservation in Asheville!
